Policies & Procedures

The Salon

We REQUIRE a credit card on file for ALL clients to make future appointments.

Cancellations/Reschedules

We ask that you notify us at least 48 hours before your appointment to make changes or cancellations. If an appointment is canceled or changed within 48 hours of your appointment time you will be charged a fee for 50% of the service cost. All no showed appointments or appointments canceled or rescheduled within 24hrs will be charged 100% of the service cost. These charges will be applied to the card on file.

We understand that illness happens and will take that into consideration for appointment changes or cancellations and apply any fees towards a credit to your next appointment.

 

If you are sick with a contagious illness, we ask that you contact the salon so that we can reschedule your appointment to a later date.

If you need to cancel an appointment and are unable to reach us, leave a voicemail or email twentyninesalonva@gmail.com. Both are checked regularly, and the sooner we know about a cancellation, the quicker we can get you rescheduled and fill that appointment slot with a client on our waitlist.

Please keep in mind it is a courtesy to give more notice. This consideration for your stylist’s time allows your stylist to accommodate other clients and limits your stylist’s potential loss of income. 

Client Guests

We request that our clients come by themselves, as our salon is cozy and can get very tight when stylists are busy.

Children who are receiving a service are welcome; however children shouldn't be accompanying you to your service. The salon is not a safe or proper place for children to play.

Service Guarantee

If you are not satisfied with your results, please contact the salon immediately. We will address your concerns and correct unwanted results, if notified within 1 week of your appointment.

This is not an opportunity to receive a new service due to changing your mind. 

Weddings & Events

We REQUIRE two credit cards on file, 30% Deposit, signed & completed contracts for ALL Bridal Clients to secure their wedding date.

Securing Your Date

Submit an application by our online inquiry form to see if your date is available.

If available, you will then receive an estimate for the total balance of your services being requested as well as your invoice & bridal/event contract.

In your invoice, a non-refundable 30% deposit is required with TWO cards saved on file, and a signed contract, and card authorization form to fully secure your date. This deposit will then be deducted from your total balance. All balances/invoices are due the day BEFORE your scheduled date of services.

Contracts will specify all terms and conditions.

​

Your date is not secured until all of the above is completed. 

We allow a 24 hour grace period from the time the contracts are sent to sign and your deposit is paid, otherwise your date is void and becomes available for others to book. 

Trials

A bridal trial is REQUIRED before your wedding day & ONLY available to Brides with secured contracts with Twenty Nine Salon.

 

All bridal trials are included in your estimate/balance.

All Bridal Trials are performed in the salon and/or Beauty Studio.

Bridal trial forms are to be submitted to us 5 months before your wedding to provide all information we may need for your big day.

We will then reach out to you 4-3 months prior to your wedding to schedule a trial.

 Any other additional trials will be scheduled and charged separately on your invoice. 

Please come to the beauty studio with a clean face if receiving make up, and with clean/dry hair for hair services.

​

Bring any hair accessories you may be using for your wedding day, and of course wear something white with a similar neckline to your wedding dress. This enhances the overall look and gives you the ultimate prewedding glimpse into your wedding day style.

Wedding Day

Your wedding day payment is due the day before your wedding. 

We only allow one form of payment at this time, via your invoice. 

If anyone is paying for their own services, we suggest they pay the payee prior to this date. 

Payments are due to Twenty Nine Salon & Beauty Studio, not the artists. Gifts or additional gratuity is not required but artists are allowed to accept as a thank you for their services.

A schedule is submitted to the bride after your trial & 1 month prior to your wedding. Everyone receiving services is asked to stay on time to provide a stress-free day for the bride.

​

Please come with clean/dry hair and a clean face for requested services.

​

NO additional services can be added or provided for others during this time.

Service Minimum & Fees

We require a minimum of 5 services on weddings Fri-Sun per Artist

​

We require a 10 person minimum per artist for hiring of additional artists on site. A $200 fee is applied per artist for this request. 

​

Travel for on site services requires at least 5 services per artist within 30 miles, and 7 services per artist for 60+ miles. 

A travel fee of $1.00 per mile roundtrip is assessed during your quote. 

Tolls & parking fees must be reimbursed.

All Travel related expenses will be assessed based at the time of booking. This may include, hotel expenses, uber/flight, and food during the duration of your artists stay.

​

Gratuity- 20% is automatically applied to your service total after taxes. 

​

Processing Fee of 2.9% & state taxes are applied to all quotes & payments.

 

Relocation Fee- $125+ travel fees is added for an additional relocation of services
